Growing the next generation of Pasifika festival leaders, creatives and producers.

The future of Pasifika festivals is in the hands of our young people.

The Pasifika Youth Producers Programme is a new national initiative by Pasifika Festivals Aotearoa Incorporated (PFA Inc.), created to give young Pasifika people the opportunity to learn, create, connect and gain real-world experience across the Pasifika festival sector.

Through hands-on learning, mentoring, leadership development and practical festival experience, the programme is designed to help young people build the confidence, skills and networks needed to explore pathways into creative industries, event production and the wider festival sector.

This 16-week pilot brings together 32 young people across Aotearoa, with two pathways designed to meet participants at different stages of their journey.
